Tram is where you can see...

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Would like to spent this little time to share about what i'm thinking. This kind of situation reminded me to my father who always attentively listening to what i'm mumbling about of what i'm thinking especially when in the way back from the school while he was driving or while we're lepaking during the late night tea break..at least i did not make him fall asleep while driving..

Lately i used to catch a tram to go anywhere around melbourne. maybe for students using tram everyday cost quite a lot of money and it is not so healthy as means of bicycle is more relevant and good for the body.
But to some extent i have heard that using tram is not good because will be seeing a lot of forbidden things such as women unveiled and etc. erm.. for me is not really the case. the main thing is how own self reaction and how own self control when facing the forbidden thing that reflect iman and taqwa in heart. there is thought to put down the gaze, and not sitting with people opposing gender. i'm far more easy to just stand at the back most of the tram looking to surrounding while listening to something or reading something rather than having a sit with opposing gender. and there is also thought to change using the hand if possible, if not, using the mouth, if not, using the heart and it is the lowest level of iman. but, if straight away band the use of tram, so that, we have to use a car or a bicycle or a pair of legs as a mean of transportation. since i got a free monthly zone 1+2 ticket from my newhousemate. so, i have to get as much benefit out of it.

The crust of today's topic is about the values that can be extricated from the tram. it include various aspects as follows :

Tram is where you can see multicultural ethnic together
There was one situation happened today while I was on the way to have one round jog at the park. when i climbed up the tram i saw a man whose like so similar with one of my friend who currently living nearby my house. without hesitation i took a sit beside him and took off my right earphone and glanced at him with a warm smile. "from malaysia?" i repeated once again "from malaysia?" he replied "no,no i'm from nepal". I was taken aback for a while because previously i was 60% confident that he was malay. if not from malaysia must be from indonesia. since then i realized there was also people assembling malay's countanence outside malay peninsular. to make things not so obvious i kept asking him questions and some time there no space for him questioning me. but what i realized that he was desperated with dense population and hectic life back in his country. other than that i asked him whether nepal has any seas surrounding but he answer no. and he asked me back is there malaysia has any seas and i replied "yea malaysia is surrounded by seas.." haha.. What is important here melbourne is consist of multi ethnic groups of people not only 3 but there are many. but still can have a peaceful environment.

Tram is where you can see the real accountability
This can be look at the tram driver. usually the tram track is shared with vehicles road in the middle. so, whenever the tram stop at the station it will flash signals to instruct vehicles from the back to stop to allow the passengers take off. but sometime a few 'stubborn' driver just not follow the rule. this induce the tram driver to become angry that he will ring the bell many times and if the driver is so brutal he will go out from his driver's sit and yell to the driver. This shows that the tram driver is very responsible for his passengers. Other situation is when the tram is about to move and already close the door but one passenger is about to catch the tram and if he is lucky the driver will open the door.. this situation does not always happened that i can estimate 6 out of 10.

Tram is where you can see the real punctuality
Tram might arrived on schedule as what have determined in the schedule chart. Sometime the tram was earlier than the scheduled time. This also has to do with accountability because there are schedule to be followed. not at certain other countries, there are not even have the schedule for passengers to plan their journey.

Tram is where you can see the honourship
People were silence inside the tram. Into some extent, i've been once watch a guy with slurred speech, flickering hair with some smell of alcohol pouring out of his mouth, maybe he was just 'drink' too much. he asked a girl sit in front of him of what she was hearing to. and the girl replied in a gentle manner that she was hearing to some kind of music. and he just noded "yup, yup" and requested to hear for a while of what she was hearing to. and again the girl cooperatively give one side of her earphone to him. He listened for a while to the music and then pass it back to the girl and appraising her for the music. SO, what can be grasp here is not the alcoholic man,but is the serenity, safety and calmness manner that the girl show. her manner actually represent of what other people in melbourne are thinking. So, reflecting to my beloved country.. a women who went shopping in the middle of hectic KL was too scary to keep her hand beg even though already graping it in tight cuddle.

Tram is where you can see the accuracy
When u're waiting at the tram station especially at the station where there is no real station, just a shoulder-height rail of steel dividing the road and the track. But the architectural design and engineer that build these were very accurate that there have just nice a space for people to wait for the tram without worrying be toppled down. As far as i concern there was no news about people being hit by the tram but the collision between trams i had heard twice. other than that, the tram will not move so close together with the front tram as the driver try to keep a distant that are safe to make any emergency break. Why not so much accident involving tram occuring here? is that because of the wage for tram driver is more expensive than the wage of a doctor in malaysia? i have no idea...

Tram is where you can see the sense of helpfulness
I myself have been once help a mother to carry her baby's trolley (do not know the name of this thing) down the tram because i've seen other people do it before. this is a reflex not a non-spontaneous action..huhu

Tram is where you can see the value of time
People inside the tram were not just doing nothing but they might read a novel, newspaper or any other readable materials. Some people deliberately left their finished-reading newspaper on the sit, so that the incoming people who are interest to read can take the advantage of reading a free newspaper. For example is me.. haha

Tram is where you can see a neat transportation system is organized
The tram system around melbourne is mainly designed to connect people in the suburbs which usually take around half an hour journey from the Central Business District (CBD). The suburbs located far away which usually take more than half an hour journey was connected via the trains. Amazingly this system have been invented about a century ago but until now it can still very well accommodating its passengers. Besides, this very well integrated, organized transportation system ensure that all the people living in Victoria were exclusively connected regardless which suburbs they were living in. So that from this we can see that there is no discrimination or unjustification exerted on the melbourne people.

Until now.. I hope can get the most benefit with a free monthly zone 1+2 ticket which will expire soon on 20/8.. thanx to my newhousemate...

Membina angka satu

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

InsyaAllah..

Wallahua'lam...
